Girl's dress from ladies skirt

In an attempt to decrease the large pile of things waiting for refashion i turned this lovely beaded skirt from a friend of mine into a dress for her granddaughter.

Unfortunately, the fabric was a bit torn just between the two beaded parts of the top of the skirt, so i cut that bit away and inserted a lace up section. I'm quite pleased with it.
