Blue Velvet

So I found this blue velvet girl's dress in our building's basement in the 'giveaway' section.

Definite potential in the gorgeous midnight blue stretch velvet, but the seam across the middle of the bust was not cool. It needed to be raised by about 2-3 inches.

So, after raising the seam, removing the sleeves and collar and reshaping the sides a bit, here's what I have now! A perfect basic dress that is super comfy and can be dressed up or down.
