Spring Scarves: Part I

I decided to do a weeklong spring scarf tutorial bonanza over on my blog after someone asked me how I'd made the scarf in my main blog pic. I'm sharing the first installment here today and will do a roundup post later this week once I've posted the individual tutorials already :).

Here are a few shots of the above scarf. I kinda broke it down explaining what I'd done by taking several pictures of the different parts of this scarf. I think it's pretty easy to figure out, but I did a 'recreation' to break down some of the steps a bit.

The 'copycat' that's not such a copycat started out as the following items:
 
After reworking the sweater a bit and combining the braids and lace, I came up with a two-piece scarf that gives me more options in how I wear it! Love my not so copycat 'copycat' ;).

I love the scarves! I love the different dimensions and textures of the scarves. Great job.
