Shoes, from Scuffed to Sequined!

Hello!

I seem to have been squirrelling lots of new-old pieces from charity shops over the past few months, I think I need about six months off, not doing anything else, to focus on them..! Well that's not going to happen, but I'm determined to get at least two more new refashionings under-way THIS WEEK. (emphasis for my benefit, not yours)

In the meantime, I thought I'd shoe-in (oh dear) a vintage refashioning, with a scuffed pair of red satin shoes, and another pair of tired-looking patent-leather shoes, that I was loathed to throw away... here's the before pic;

and then, with a few strategically-placed sequins here and there, here's the after pic;

Hope the start of Springtime is treating you well :) For more on this refashioning, check out the blog post... - normal service will resume next week, I'm so excited to share my upcycled lace dress project with you, not long now!!

I've also amassed quite the pile of refashions for the coming months. If only I had the time!

Nice job on the bejeweled shoes. I especially like the red ones. I may have to try this some time!
