This dress didn't flatter me, and it resisted several attemps to refashion it. It had double layering in the front with the twisted part, and underneath it had a-top-with-straps-part. Everything I did, left the dress looking amputated.
Before refashion attemps 1, 2 and 3:
Eventually i decontructed the ****** thing completely. Now I could see its possibilities better.
I turned it backwards, pinned and sewed the new neckline and sewed the sleeves back on, using the cut off straps as edge in the back.
I won! :-D
(oh, and need to wear a dark bra underneath this...)

Looks lovely on you! Not a fan of twists either a bit mid 2000s ! Work suitable clothing is always useful too
I love a boatneck and its such an improvement from the twist front! I totally understand the many versions of a refashion ;) and you DID win!
