Yellow Polo to Tunic #1 of 4

I have four unworn over-sized polos of the same style, but different colors.in my stash. My goal was to create a casual peasant / tunic style t-shirt using this yellow polo.
I ran the red basting stitch and cut the collar band off. A bias cut blue and yellow cotton weave toile was added to create a casing for elastic.
After.
Before.
The elastic in the new peasant style neckline
pulled the shoulder seams up onto my shoulders.
Elastic was run through the existing sleeve bands.
Dark blue buttons replaced pale yellow buttons.
This shirt is now ready to wear to
the Flower Shop with casual capris.

Basted and cut.

New neckline.

Thank you Joke. I wore it to the FlowerShop this week with Blue linen crops. It was in the high 90's. A lady from Alaska came in, it is true fall and cool at her home.

Another way to fix off-the-shoulder seams - yay! I have narrow shoulders so I like seeing different methods of bringing the seams to the correct spot.
