The Vest Jacket

Hello Refashion Co-op. My project today was a vest that didn't get much wear. I like the look but in my part of the country it is either HOT or COLD. There isn't much in between. It is always too hot for a vest or too cold to go without sleeves. I had this heavy sweatshirt from a clothes swap. The logo on the sweatshirt annoys me so...you can guess what I did.

It was quicker than I thought it would be. The sweatshirt won't fray so I just cut the hood and sleeves off and attached them to the vest.

And the body of the sweatshirt was modified for this guy. KC the Wonder Dog is warm and happy.

Now go make something fabulous for yourself. And your dog!

I'm seeing more and more people adding sweatshirt sleeves and hood to a vest. I love the comfort of a hoodie but the look kind on me -- at least -- screams slob! The combination of the vest and hoodie looks great. I might have to try that!

Thanks. I know what you mean about the look of most sweatshirts. I hate putting them over my head. 😊

He is such a big baby. He is wearing his sweatshirt and cuddled up with his blankie. Haha
