Blizzard Beanies and Gloves

Hello Refashion Co-op. I am still snowed in and trying to keep busy. My area of the country isn't known for deep snow or very cold weather. I decided to make a couple hats to keep us warm while we dig out from Snowpocalypse 2016.

I started by cutting up this sweater. It is a nice wool blend and will be nice and warm. I had enough to make a hat for my daughter and myself. I rounded the tops of the hats to make them a bit form fitting. And I used the ends of the sleeves to make mitten-gloves.

I wanted my fingertips and thumbs to stick out so I could use my phone, the car radio, the ATM...you get the idea.

For more details go to, I Can Work With That.
Thanks for reading, now go make something fun for yourself.
