Just Glovely...

Hello All!

Hope the weather's getting better for you, wherever you are (unless you're somewhere that's constantly sunny, in which case, as you were!) x

Even though it should be Spring here, there's snow in the north of England - and an unpredictability that's likely to continue - so my handmade gift to Mum, for Mother's Day, was rather apt...

I started with a sweater dress:


Used a Vogue pattern (don't often do that...):


And ended up with some soft, cosy gloves!

What a fun refashion. I have wanted to make gloves but I thought they were hard to sew. I may have to try it now. Thanks for the inspiration.

Go for it Cindy - you'll be surprised at how easy it is (especially as you've got experience of sewing), not sure how hard other patterns are - but this was really straight-forward :)
