Saving a Vintage Dress; Making a Scarf

Hello Refashion Co-op. My project today is a rescue mission of sorts. I found this beauty at a clothes swap and I love the impressionist painting style flowers around the bottom. It had some problems due to its age. And it was too small for me. But I had to find a way to wear it.

In the end I made an infinity scarf. I almost made a skirt but thought I could wear a scarf more often. The bottom of the dress is a circle so the infinity scarf was done almost as soon as I started.

I just love this pattern and the colors. The fabric is soft enough that it lays nicely. If it was too stiff or heavy, I don't think it would make a nice scarf.
