Button-Down One; The Blue One

Hello Refashion Co-op. I am starting to work on a pile of button-down shirts I have been saving. I didn't know what I wanted to do but now I have several so I can try out a few refashion ideas. This blue shirt had some damage in a couple spots so that directed the new look.

I cut away the sleeves and collar. That took away the ruined areas.

It took much longer than it should have to decide on the black bias tape for the edges. I tried floral and wound up making what looked like pajamas.

I like the black, it looks a bit retro. For more details on this top, including the pajama look, go to I Can Work With That.
And thanks for reading.

The black binding really works well, looks very stylish. It was worth the time working on the fit as well.

It looks retro in a very stylish way!! I like the contrast of the black against the light blue. Win-win!!
