Button-Down Four; The Gray One

Hello Refashion Co-op. I hope everyone is well and happy. Spring seems to be here for real this time so I made a tank style shirt for my fourth button-down refashion. (Full disclosure - I saw this on Pinterest and wanted to try it.)

I cut off the arms and shoulders first. Then I did as small a seam as I could on the arm holes. I folded the top edge down and made a larger seam to thread wide ribbon through. I also took a bit off the sides at the end for fit.

You can see the bow better from this side. The wide ribbon make a shoulder strap that I liked. The ribbon also makes the fit easy to adjust, not too low and not too high.

That looks great! It reminds me (for some reason) of those pillowcase dresses that were popular in the sewing DIY world a few years back. I know I made a couple for my girls, but never thought about that style for myself. You are rocking it!
