Sew Along Refashion Runway - Riverside

Last challenge: Pantone Riverside blue. I had already collected some clothes to be dyed, and I begin to be fond of blue again, so it alle went in the blue dyebath. I used Dylon for washing mashine (and dont get paid to say this).

A white T-shirt with lace front ind size XL.

It dyed just as I had hoped.

I put it around my lower body and measured, and pinned, and stitched, and pinned, and stitched....

...untill it was just the way I wanted it to be.

A white top, I never used, also got the blue treatment. It became fine, except the lace became an odd pale red. Off it went.l I replaced it with the upper part (neck, shoulders and sleeves) from a dress I once refashioned. I love the result.

A rather special garment: A dress and cardigan twinset. I bought it like that. The idea was good, but it didn't work for me, my chest was too large. I cut the "dress" out of the cardigan and remade the "dress" into a sash/fabric belt.

And the rest of the dye lot garments, which didn't need further alterations.

One of my many white linen skirts became a more useful navy blue.

I love this dress, which is so comfortable and flattering. However it was the same bright red colour as our flag, and I looked like a sports fan wearing it.
Now it is a deep saturated burgundy red (hard to see in the photo)

I had hoped for the pattern to be still visible, but it is a nice blue, so it is ok.
