The Fastest Dress Refashion

Hello Refashion Co-op. I had this nice skirt and top that didn't work for me. Everything was so long on me. I pulled the skirt up and wore it as a dress. I cut the sweater up the middle and cut the sleeves into a shorter length.

I liked the dress very much. It was much more flattering in a shorter length and with a belt. I also liked the sweater by itself. It made a nice layering piece.

I used the sleeves as boot cuffs. The finished end of the sleeve is peaking out of my boots.

Thanks for reading, for more pictures and details go to I Can Work With That.

The colours really compliment each other and the new outfit looks great. I don't understand why the sweater didn't fray. Didn't you have to hem it at all?

Thanks Ladies. The top was very light weight, almost like a T-shirt weight. I cut it and it didn't fray at all. I was surprised too and just went with it.
