Oversize sweater -> Cardigan

I liked the pattern of this sweater, but it was way too big. I decided to refashion it into a fashionable oversize cardigan.

I cut the sweater down the front middle.

I stitched on a piece of black ribbon around the edges, first from the wrong side and then from the right side.

That's it. Ready for use.

It is pretty, very warm, as a cardigan it does not drown my body, and it is also much more versatile as a cardigan. But I am still not quite convinced that oversize flatters my short and curvy figure.

I've done this also... I would recommend taking in the sides a bit. At least pin them to see if it would make you happier.
