Maxed Out Four

Hello Refashion Co-op. This is my last maxi skirt for now. I discovered it was actually a fake wrap skirt. That gave me some extra fabric to work with. As you can see I made a romper. Sort of.

I made some loose, high-waist shorts with an elastic waistband to start with. I used most of the lower half of the skirt to make the shorts. That left the top of the skirt untouched.

I added straps to the top half of the skirt and it became a little top.

When I tuck the shirt into the shorts it looks like a romper but it is a lot easier to wear because it is 2 pieces. (It is a little annoying to have to remove ALL your clothes to use the ladies room. That is what makes rompers more difficult to wear in my opinion.)
