Dresses For December, Part 1

Hello Refashion Co-op. I decided to do a series of only dress refashions for the month of December. This is the first dress of the month. It was a nice, but too big, purple knit dress. I really like knits but this was too big and too long.

 

 

I was able to alter the sides because the dress had a back zipper. I tried it on and marked where I wanted the new seams to be. It was quick and easy to make new seams on my sewing machine. I also shortened it to a better length.

 

This is a comfortable dress. I was happy with how it turned out. I just added some layers to keep warm.
