Denim Days; The Skirt

Hello Refashion Co-op. Sometimes when things don't fit I just want to make them fit well as fast as possible. Read on for some quick and easy clothing makeovers.

I started with this denim skirt and took off a couple of belt loops.

Then I made new side seams and curved the waist in to make the skirt more high-waisted. This was a quick way to change the look of the skirt.

It became very hot so I decided to make this low cut tank fit better and wear it with the skirt. I was going to just shorten the straps but instead I made a loose knot on each strap. I thought it would make the tank more interesting and shorten the straps at the same time.

This was a great outfit for the heat and humidity we had that day.

Thanks for reading along, for more pictures and details go to I Can Work With That.

I love knotting the shirt to make the straps shorter! I often need to shorten straps. Looks great.
