Denim Days; The White Jacket

Hello Refashion Co-op. I love denim. I wear it all the time. I was really happy to find this white denim jacket at a clothes swap this summer. I don't have any white denim.

 The jacket was in great shape but it was just a lot of white. I decided to play with some dye.

 

I set up a bucket of dye and started lowering the jacket into the dye. I used a hanger to hold it and every 10 minutes I added a hanger so the jacket got lower and lower into the dye. It took about an hour in total.

I really liked the ombre effect I got. 

I didn't alter the jacket at all. I liked the roomy fit for wearing over sweaters in the cooler weather.
