Ballet flats to lace up flats

Hi to everyone!
I had these shoes which I loved but I was getting blisters because of the bias tape.
So I decided to remove it.
After that I realized that it was diffcult to walk into these because they were too loose.
The before:

I made 4 holes in each shoe with the belt punch plier, added an elastic cord of the same color...and...

...the after:

...the back:

Now it's very comfortable and I like the style. Thanks for reading!

Fixing the neckline

My mom had a cable knit sweater with a stand-up collar totally uncomfortable. I volunteered to fix it for her. I don't have a before picture, but I found something similar on the internets.
What I did was to put a plate on the neckline and make a trace. Cut it and sewed a faux leather bias tape in matching color.
I had trouble in the connection, so I used textile adhesive. I find it convenient in those cases.

My mom can now wear it enjoining the new neckline.

simple skirt fix

Hi everyone! I had this wool skirt which is ok but I wanted to make it more fashionable.

So, I shortened it a little. I know I could do it shorter, but I am not too bold.

Yoke waist skirt to A-line skirt

Hi everyone!
I had this corduroy yoke waist skirt, which is obviously unflattering.

I firstly removed the yoke from the skirt

Then I laid flat the other part wrong sizes together. Placed a good fitted skirt, traced...

and cut

I sewed the sides down, sewed an elastic to the waistband and the result:

How I wear it:

sweater to cardigan

I had this sweater which I had worn only a few times. When I realized I can refashion it to a cardigan I was very happy because I could wear it more often.

I cut a sraight line in the middle, zigzagged it, hemmed it and added three buttons I had on the same color. I don't know how to make buttonholes so I got inspiration by this:

...buttoned...

I also sraighten the slight bell sleeve, because I had trouble when wearing a coat.

A shaved bag!

This is a foldover leather crossbody bag a friend of mine gave me years ago. I wasn't wearing it because the strap was way too short for me. Maybe it was made for kids, but I liked the details,so I made some small changes.

back
front
I just chopped all the fringes and the strap, sewed a loop from the leftover fringe on each side to make loops for the new strap and used some strap leftovers and a buckle from other bags I had ......

and ended like this:

It's like a beardless man. Isn't it?

Shirt dress to shirt

Hi everyone!

This is a khaki shirt dress I bought for 2 euros. It's truly ugly.

I just shortened the hem by keeping its curve...and now I have a khaki shirt.

Thanks for reading!  Have a nice day and happy refashioning time.

Knitted dress refashion

Hi everyone!!!
This is a knitted dress. The length was very awkward making my torso weird. I couldn't wear it.  See?

What I did?  I just cut off some centimeters above the waistline and relocated the two pieces.

Now, it's empire-waisted and more wearable.

Sneakers with gold details

I had these sneakers and thought it would be fun to refashion them with gold spray paint.

So I wrapped carefully, painted it  ...

Refashioned Sandals

Hi to all Refashion Co-op readers!
I am Sofia from Greece and this is my first post. I am very exciting I can join this incredible blog. Congratulations to all! You are all very inspiring!

I will start with some sandals I bought 5 years ago. I wore them, but I kept getting blisters. Also, I didn't like that the design is a little childish. So I thought a little chopping will do:

Now they are more comfortable and I think cuter. Thanks for reading!
