Knitted refashion of a vest

image

I was just not happy with the length of the straps on this People Tree vest. So I frogged the straps and knit new straps by knitting a new garter stitch neckline and sleeve edge.

Check out more before and after images on my blog.

I am trying to collect knitted refashions or in other words, refashions done by knitting instead of sewing, dyeing and other methods. I have set up a Pinterest board which I love other's to join. Email me if you are interested or if you have experience with knitted refashions (even though you may not blog about it).

Thanks,
Eddie :-)

January 2014 Recap

I can't believe that I'm so late with posting the recap for January. We are halfway through February now and yesterday was Valentines day - which means - Happy Birthday Refashion Co-op :-) We are three years old now. How amazing is that.

This sure couldn't have happened without all you wonderful contributors so let's have a look at what you have been up to in January. Personally, I got started with my 2014 refashioning project of doing knitted refashions, where I refashion by re-knitting an item. I started out with my sister-in-laws convertible gloves/mittens.I would love to hear from other's who refashion by knitting.

Below is the hashtags list updated with the posts from January first:

As for the Pinterest boards I have embedded a pin from each edited board so you can see them all. There are several refashion group boards on Pinterest but the main one is the Refashion Co-op group board you can see below.

Any of you can contact me and ask me to be invited to any of the Refashion Co-op or my group boards. Just tell me your Pinterest username and make sure you are following the board you want to be a part of. If you want to make sure I see your request it would be best to contact me via email or on Facebook.

Thanks,
Eddie

P.S. Over on my blog I am collecting what I feel were the most helpful refashion tutorials of the month. Check out the 10 most helpful refashion tutorials from January 2014.

Knitted refashion #1 - my sister-in-laws gloves

Over New Years I had a great big think about how I could combine two of my favourite DIY crafts: knitting and refashioning. Mainly because during my virtual chat with Zoe where I was made to think a lot about my refashioning endeavours, and I must admit that I just don't get as much sewing done as I would have liked.
However, since our move to Munich in 2012 (we are back in Denmark again) I got much more into knitting again. Something I had given up a bit after my pregnancy (damn those swollen fingers). I also felt so inspired in Munich that I finally began designing my own knitting patterns (it's amazingly fun with, sometimes, mind-numbingly complex maths, phew!!). So I just didn't feel like spending time behind the sewing machine and that's usually where refashions take place. But, luckily not always!

So here I am bringing my first installment of a knitted refashion project, with absolutely no sewing involved. My sister-in-law had these nice gloves that could convert to mittens, but only for the 4 fingers. The thumb was left out in the cold. So I added a little cover for the thumbs for her. Now all 5 fingers can be warm and toasty. :-)

You will find the entire project with instructions and more photos on my blog.

Thanks,

New dress refashion page

I have been talking about this sorting I wanted to do of the Refashion Co-op posts for a long time now and I have also been working on it. But it's such a lot of work to go through all the posts where "dress" is mentioned and decide which actually present a dress refashion. But inspired by my recent interview by Zoe of which I was so grateful, I decided to have a go at it again.
I have been using Pinterest to sort the posts. I pin each actual dress refashion to an edited board where you can browse through them. You can see the board here below and on the new dress refashion page. I am hoping in time to make a page for each subject: dress, trousers, men's shirts, tops, skirts, children and male refashions.
I would love to get some feedback from you all about these pages and the Pinterest boards. Do you think it would use it to find dress refashions? BTW you don't have to have a Pinterest account to browse the pins.

If you are on Pinterest you may be happy to know that the Refashion Co-op also has a Pinterest group board where any of you are welcome to join and post your refashion pins. Just contact me via my blog or social media to get an invite to pin to the group board.

Thanks,
Eddie

New look on the blog

OK so quite a lot to tell you all about so let me just begin at one end and hope I don't forget anything.

Let's begin at the top with the header. We finally got around to getting a new header for the blog. My husband, John, has just started his illustration business and was looking for a client to test this idea he had of drawing a virtual room. I pitched the concept to the rest of the editors and they liked it. So here is the Refashion Co-op's very own virtual room. ta-da!
For the rest of September John is hosting a giveaway, where you can win your very own "virtual room" illustration. The prize is basically this listing on Etsy. You can enter on his Facebook page or on my blog for now.

Moving down the page I want to point you all to the menu. Doesn't look different from the home page but if you go check out each of our pages you will see that we have changed quite a bit. This is all thanks to the skills of the IWOM (check out her blog A Life Without Clothes). She has transformed our text into a new and clear format. Thanks IWOM :-)

Now lets take a look at the sidebars. I have moved that sign-up form away from the right sidebar. It was just taking up too much room and was frankly a bit ugly. You will now find it on the Join us page where it belongs. Remember those big buttons with dead links to Twitter and Facebook. Well they have now been replaced by these pretty buttons by dindin from dindin does ... .

Last but not least I want to tell you about something that I didn't have time to add today but which will come soon. We are going to have some badges in one of the sidebars soon for the blog editors. All the editors do such an amazing job keeping this blog going and it has always been the idea that they would get something out of it in terms of advertising for their own blogs or shops here on the Refashion Co-op. So now it's going to happen (soon).

So let me know what you think about the changes around here :-)

Thanks,
Eddie

Harem pants for a little lady

I did this refashion with the Ottobre Design Autumn 4/2012 (7) Harem pants for toddlers pattern. The full story and more photos are on my blog

These are the second harem pants made with this pattern I am showing off. If you want to see how cute the little lady looks with them on - check out the first pair. <3

Silk blouse to child harem pants

So I had this beautiful blouse from Monsoon that I bought several years ago. I bought it on a bit of a whim because it was pretty rather than because it suited me. And it didn't suit me or fit me very well so it has been marked for refashioning forever, but the idea was originally to refashion it into something for myself. Then last year we were packing everything down to move to Munich and I cut out pretty much all my fabric and refashion stash for items (a lot of it for my daughter) - put it in a pile and told my wonderful sister that she was free to sew it up if she wishes ;-)
So she and my mother did just that and brought the result down when they visited. This is the first of several that I will show you, so keep tuned for more :-)

You can see more images on Eddie's Room!

What a job!! - sorting dress refashions

Thank you to all who have shared their dress refashions on the Linky Party and Pinterest. The Linky party is now closed and as promised I have now begun a massive editing process to create a new resources page for Dress Refashions. Phew!

So let me tell you a little about how I am doing this:
I am currently going through all the posts from the blog to date (2950 posts) which appear when I do a basic search for 'dress' (around 930 posts). I am now through the first 30 so there is still a long way to go. But I began from the very first posts and it's really fun to go through and see the first posts and discover who was with us from the beginning and is still sticking around (hello Huli :-) )

I look at every post that sounds promising and if it is a refashion involving a dress and it has a before and after picture or a reasonable explanation I post it to the new edited Pinterest board with the hashtag #DressRefashion.

If the post involves a dress I'll add a new label #DressRefashions. From now on I will use hashtag labels to sort the refashions. Please don't add hashtag labels (or any other label than your username) yourself as it will be removed.

Do you still want to share your own dress tutorial or refashions? Well you can! Ask me for an invitation to join the group Pinterest board for dress refashions or add your tutorial to the link collection on the Eddie's Room post and go grab the badge :-) Please keep your links and pins relevant or they will be deleted.

xx Eddie

All your dress refashions!

I have just bumped this to the top of the pile - only one more week to add your dress refashions!!! Can't wait to see them :-)
The Refashion Co-op has recently celebrated its 2 year birthday. The feedback I got from readers and contributors that day gave me the push I needed to start this series like the "what would you do?" posts again. This time around the goal is to create a series of resource pages on Refashion Co-op. The first theme is "Dress Refashions". The new format is as follows:
  • A linky party hosted on Refashion Co-op, asking for links to your own dress refashions (old and new, on and off the co-op).
  • A link collection hosted on Eddie's Room, asking for links to any dress refashion tutorial.
  • A Pinterest board with dress refashions, which you can help add pins to.
  • Finally, a page about the chosen theme on Refashion Co-op with links to all - for future inspiration.
So please help me create this resource by sharing your own dress refashion in the Refashion Co-op Linky Party below.

Grab the badge for your blog: (I have added the code for you to grab on my blog as I can't do it here)
You can use this image: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-qHKqSi7n9ic/UZOa6k33EMI/AAAAAAAAASM/aoylHjmr9Z4/s200/dressrefashionrc.png
and please link it to: http://refashionco-op.blogspot.com
Update thanks to Sandy's question: This includes everything dress related. So dresses that are altered, dresses made out of other clothes/curtains/sheets and dresses refashioned into something else.
If you want to share links to your own or other peoples dress refashion tutorial - come on over to Eddie's Room!

Can't wait to see your refashions,
Eddie
& the Refashion Co-Op editing team

Editorial update, ideas and suggestions

So back in February I did a Happy Birthday post for the co-op :-) and promised to follow it up with a post on the different suggestions. That was in February and now we are in May :-( Good thing I'm and editor and not a contributor, is all I can say :-)

Anyway here is the follow up of ideas for the Refashion Co-op. In order of appearance in the comments.
  1. some sort of database of refashion patterns
  2. some sort of forum where contributors but not only can propose swaps, ask advice, etc.
  3. also a contributors page would be nice.
  4. the idea of the item-redesign site is also wonderful because there are so many great things that we all make that can't be worn, some of which are sometimes posted here, though in theory they shouldn't (Thank you to cucicucicoo)
  5.  On the sponsored give away idea, you need to make sponsors aware that it is international. I am on a few blogs/sites that do competitions and give aways, but the sponsors either have a rider that they only send to their own country. or the prizes are about places in that country. This is even though they have participants from all over the world. (Thank you to Sandy)
  6. It would be great to have an 'ask for ideas' section. We're not all blessed with designer ideas.  (Thank you to Frances Brough)
  7. I like the idea of some sort of series/competition. Maybe a Project Runway type thing, with challenges each week, but the designers can only use refashioned/upcycled clothing. It could be done using the linky tools.  (Thank you to Jenni)
  8. Keeping the blog on topic is also important IMO -- we do say 'something new to wear out of old clothes' right over there on the left. A sister blog for crafts, home decor etc. made from unwanted clothes would be great (says the woman making a quilt just now from her husband's lovely but worn out French cuff work shirts) but for now the guideline on the Posting Ds&Ds that you may link to your own blog for that sort of project seems quite clear. If you want to publish crafts from clothes, that's what Craftster and the like are for!
  9. Given that we are so international, giveaways are a toughie (not to mention swaps!). I know back in the early days when Jenni and I did a giveaway of my first book I had to lay my hands on a USA copy as the UK publisher was out, send it to her eight time zones to the west and then it had to be sent out to the winner. Perhaps we should focus more on book and pattern reviews by we contributors. You don't need to be a professional writer to tell folk why you dislike a certain pattern or really like a certain book! One could submit a review and the editors could post it on a slow day for the blog or a whole new page could be created.
  10. Perhaps the editors could have some 'Editors' Picks', a weekly or monthly link to a particularly clever, well-written, instructional post? That would be a sort of challenge to all of us to really pull out the stops!
  11. A 'What Would You Do?' segment would be fab too: people could just answer or send in a picture or link from a similar project they tackled (Thank you to IWOM)
  12. I agree with others about competitions from time to time. Give people a month to do a particular project and crown a winner at the end. Perhaps even create a little "winners circle" page or blog buttons. Could be very cool.  (Thanks to Lisa @ OneRedShoeBlog)
  13. All the ideas you've suggested are great, especially 'post an item and ask for ideas help'. (Thanks to  Suzy Turner)
  14. I like the idea of giveaways and pattern recommendations and miss being able to search for categories such as dresses or trousers etc.  (Thanks to Little Blue Mouse)
  15.   I would be interested in non-clothing accessory posts, in a little sister blog. They are often easier and faster to make and, even if there are many sites dedicated to them, I think it would be nice to see what you can do with old clothes all in onw site, instead of bloghopping for ideas. (Thanks to Claudia)
  16. I like all the ideas listed in the main post and would be especially delighted to see a bit more variety in the type of posts, so including more 'editorial' things like book reviews and pattern reviews would be great.
  17. I also LOVE the idea of a 'Project Runway' style competition for refashioners (suggested by Jenni above) - definitely count me in if you decide to do this! Who would judge it though? The editors?
  18. Definitely agree about moving the non-fashion stuff to another blog to help maintain focus (agree with IWOM above). (Thanks to charityshopchic.net)
  19. I like that Refashion co-op is focused on Refashion - it's not just sewing, or just recycling, but the two combined. So I'd rather not see it diluted.
  20. I also like that it's not competitive. So I'd rather not see winners and losers become part of its framework.
  21. I do like the idea of pattern reviews, relevant book reviews, blog or website mentions that are relevant, news you can use, etc.
  22. The linky party is a good idea for getting traffic that can't commit otherwise.
  23. It would be cool if people, myself included, made more of an effort to comment on posts. Perhaps highlighting recent comments on the sidebar? (Thanks to pao)
Thank you to all for your great comments. So let me just summarize and we'll see what we get out of this.

It seems to me (and I have heard people comment on this before) that many are missing being able to find categories of items. Unfortunately, we simply had to remove that feature of using the labels because we simple couldn't keep on top of it. Too complex and too many were using labels that they made up on the spot :-(
So first a little tip for all of you from a SEO perspective. If you are refashioning a dress into a top, make sure to include this in your title or at least in the text of your post. That way it is easier for people to find your post if they search for top and dress.
But back to the point. Searching and finding specific refashions. This is something that I truly care a lot about. In my day job I work with text data and how best to search and share this online. So I really do want to find a solution for this.
This brings me onto the 'what would you do' or 'asking for ideas' suggestion. I love this idea. In the beginning I did a few of these posts myself and it was great fun.
You also say that you would like some more editorial posts and editorial picks and some of you would like something like a challenge but others are wary of the competitive aspect.
Anyway this brings me to a suggestions. At the moment I would love to do some refashions but my sewing machine is packed away, so I can't. Therefore, I would like to start an editorial series and I was thinking about this format.
  1. We choose a topic (refashioning men's shirts, dress refashion or trousers to skirts) and I write a 'What would you do?' post. This will include a linky option where people can link their suggestions whether they are on the co-op or not.
  2. I use this to write a tutorial/different ideas for this type of refashion post with loads of images and links.
  3. At the same time we will run a challenge on the topic. I don't know if I think there should be winners and such, but perhaps I could pick out the one/ones that have the best instructions and use these for #2 (we could have a badge that they could have too). That way there is no 'best refashion' but more a 'best instructions that help other'
  4. Finally, I make a page (accessible from the menu) with links to all the refashions within this category. This page can be added to every time someone in the future uploads a new refashion in this category. Over time we will have inspirational pages for all the major subjects.
What do you think about this idea? Perhaps in time we could get others in to do a subject as a guest editor once we have it up and running.

As for books and pattern reviews, this is something we have been talking about for a long time, among the editors. But I think we need suggestions for things to review. So if you have any suggestions for a pattern that seems great for refashioning or a book on the topic that you would like us to review, send me an email at eddie at roued dot com please. Same thing if you have something you would like to enter for a giveaway (note that this has to be something that you can send Internationally).

There was also a mention of comments and highlighting them to encourage more comments. Others mentioned forums and other ways communicating and a few said that they don't use Facebook or other social media. I think what we can do is to add a list of the latest comments (there is a bit of room in the right hand sidebar). Other than that we really have to refer to the Facebook page, Twitter, or Pinterest. I don't think any of the editors have the energy to set up a forum too, but if anyone out there has an idea so how we can help contributors be more social within Blogger, then please let us know.

One last thing I haven't mentioned yet is a sister page of refashioning into non-clothes items. Personally, I would love to see that happen, so I am going to put out a call like I did back in 2010 for the Refashion Co-op. If you are interested in being an editor (we would need at least 7) of a *Recycle co-op, give me a shout (take your pick: eddie at roued dot com | Facebook ).

*When I asked my husband for an idea on what to call this, I said "what would you call it, in one word, when I made curtains out of your old shirts" - he answered: "crazy!" lol :-)

Finally, I think I got to the end of the list and can post this (only a couple of months late). Please let me know what you think about the IDEA (in bold) above and if it seems popular I will go ahead and start. Perhaps with men's shirts, or dresses, can't decide :-)

Shirt to shirt refashion

This is a men's shirt to women's shirt/blouse refashion I actually finished last year and have been wearing quite a bit since them. I only recently got all the images together for it though.
Hop on over to my blog to see the entire walk-through.

I wanted to use this as an example of refashioning with a pattern. We (the editors) have been considering whether we should see if we could get some patterns to review for refashioning. If you have been sewing from patterns before they definitely consider using them on old clothes for a refashion. And if you are already doing it, then let me know in the comments as I am considering doing a little editorial/round-up on the subject.

Anyway here is my best attempt so far:

It all began with my husbands old shirt.

Using a fab pattern from Ottobre Design (5/2012)

Ending with a rather cool blouse (if I may say so myself :-)

Round-up of 2012

Hello Refashionistas

Some of you may remember me from when the refashion Co-op began back on Valentines day 2011 and to those, hello again! I am now back as daily editor currently covering the Wednesday duties.

To those of you who have joined in the mean-time - nice to meet you! I look forward to getting to know you all.

I am so happy to be back with the co-op and the mere fact, that it was possible for me to take a (long) maternity leave and come back to a co-op still going strong, proves that the concept of a multi-editor / multi-contributor blog was a stroke of genius. But enough about that!

As today has been a very slow day on the blog and there has been nearly no editing for me to do on my first day back I decided to have a look at the stats and see what has been going on while I have been away in 2012. I would like to share some of this with the rest of you.

2012 has been a smashing year with many visitors to the co-op. I know that we are not doing this to generate visits - but I do think it is a good sign that there is such a great interest in the co-op and it fills me with ideas about what else we can do with such a big audience. I will have to discuss this with my co-editors and will hopefully get back to you all in the new year with some ideas.

Now comes the bit I always love when looking at website stats. Where are the visitors coming from. I think this is pretty amazing. In 2012 we have had visitors from 179 countries in the world. Now, its difficult to get a straight answer on Google on how many countries there actually are in the world. But as far as I can tell its around 190. This means that we have practically had visitors from all over the world. Yes, we are truly word-wide.  I do find this quite amazing. I'm just doing the happy dance :-)

The country from which we have had most visitors is of course the USA. This comes as no surprise to me as many of our contributors and editors are living in the USA. The co-op is also very popular in the UK, Canada and Australia and I am happy to say in Germany, where I am living now. I am a bit disappointed that the Danes (this is because I am Danish) don't figure very strongly in the stats, but then again it is a very small country. At the other end of the scale we have countries such as Swaziland, Uzbekistan and Vanuatu. This is probably not interesting to anyone but myself (as I spent a part of my childhood in Swaziland) but I just wanted to mention it anyway as a little curiosity.

And now to what has been happening on the co-op in 2012. There has been over 1300 refashioning posts. The all time favourite (from a visitors perspective) was the Bow sleeve t-shirt by LittleDidYouKnow using this Ruby Murrays Musings tutorial. One of the reasons this post is so popular (apart from being fab of course) is possibly that it was popular on Pinterest too. Just goes to show that we should definitely consider doing more pinning of projects to spread the word. It works!

Another very popular post is the Cute fix for a hole in the knee of jeans by Resweater. After a bit of digging (for the sake of proper citation) I think I have found the original tutorial for this idea. It seems to come from the Dutch blog By Miekko and is a great tutorial for DIY Monster Knees. Hang on a minute. Now I think I am making a bit of a mistake here. Yes, this post has been very popular in 2012 but it was actually written at the end of 2011. Hmm, I guess it doesn't matter as this is no award ceremony but just me catching up on the co-op and it sure is cute. My husband just came by and totally loved it too.

Another popular post that is nearly from 2012 (31st December 2011!!!) is the From pullover to Cardigan refashion by Chic Envelopments. This is actually a tutorial and not just a refashion which is probably also why it is so popular. My fingers are also itching to try it out.

The last popular page I am going to mention this evening is the Posting do's and don'ts :-) I guess this means that a lot of people have been here and hopefully they have all taken note. This brings me back to the lovely editors who are making sure that the do's and don'ts are adhered to. I can't wait to work with you all next year.

Have a great holiday season and a happy new year.

See you in 2013.

xx Eddie

Refashioned cross-stitch bag

I wanted to show off this refashion I did a while back where I transformed a cross-stitch piece into a super shoulder bag using this great tutorial from  Sew Much Ado.

The result!

Adult t-shirts becomes retro baby clothes

This is a little round up of some of the refashions I made for my 8 month daughter Bess out of adult clothes this summer. I got these nice cotton t-shirts from my mother in the spring:
I began by making a couple of tights for Bess:
I continued to make some retro shorts using the Ottobre magazine 3/2012 pattern number 5 called Donkey.

Finally, to match I made a t-shirt from the same magazine:
I must admit that I didn't expect to get this much out of the two t-shirts.
I have also finished a pair of retro short dungarees made from 2 of Bess' fathers old shirts. These were just ordinary men's shirts so I won't show you a photo of that.
Take care,
Eddie from Eddie's room

T-shirt to baby tights refashion

Its been a while since I have had fun with refashions but when I saw the suggestion in the tights tutorial by Made by Rae to use old t-shirts as material for baby tights (the ones I made a pair of yesterday) I was hooked. My mom donated some of her old good quality t-shirts a while back and I picked out two to experiment with. The pictures speak for themselves and I really like the result.

From cushion covers to baby trousers

IMG_0052 1

This is a refashion that started life as cushion covers which I sewed for myself years ago. I didn't want to use them anymore so I decided to refashion them into baby clothes while my sister and I were having a baby clothes making weekend.

Have a look at my blog for more pictures of the refashion and also the other clothes we sewed from scratch.

Dyeing cotton for a shawl

Billede 316
The cotton after it is dyed with a sample of undyed to show the contrast

I found a really soft cotton blouse in a charity shop a while back and decided to buy it to unravel and knit myself a summer shawl with. When I can home and had gone through all the work of unraveling it I decided that the colour was not at all for me. So when I did natural dyeing experiments with my friend Cecile in April I decided to throw it into the yellow onion dye (which we had loads of).
If you want details on how we did it have a look at Cecile's post.
If you want to see the full story and more pictures have a look at my blog.

take care,
Eddie

Turquoise vintage dress refashion

This is a dress I refashioned from a vintage silk dress I found in a refashioning bin a couple of years ago. I love the colour and the fabric and actually I liked the style too except for the lovely sweat patches under the sleeves and in the neck. So that had to go. It is now a bit of a party dress.
Over on my blog you can also see the Jane Austen dress refashion I made (with tutorial) out of a skirt and a blouse.

If you want to check out a couple more pictures they are now on my own blog.
I used to have the refashions on Grey Duckling but this blog is now exclusively for lace, yarn and my husbands illustrations, which of course you are very welcome to visit too!

Take care,
Eddie

Colourwheels and dyeing

Hi All,

I have been a bit quiet lately, going around doing my editors duties, commenting on your lovely posts, but really not much else. Sorry about that!

I have been working on one refashion in particular but more will be revealed at a later point. Other than that I haven't been very active online as there have been some major things going on offline (all good I promise).

One thing was that I went to France with a friend to visit her family. While we were their we did some serious experimenting with natural dyes. We made a flickr group to show off the photos. I was so amazed at the variety of colour and the intensity of some of the colours.

So why am I telling you all this you might ask - what has it got to do with refashioning. Well for me dyeing is refashioning. You have an item you love the fabric and the shape of, but not the colour. A bit of dyeing can fix that. And this is my bid to try and convince you that there is no need to buy synthetic dyes to get the colours you want. It can be done just as easily and with a lovely result too by using plant material.

And is this then a refashion in itself? Of course it is. You see I have been buying this 100% natural/white wool in charity shops but they were all a grubby and discolored. So I decided to split them into mini skeins and use them as samples for these dyeing experiments. Now I have a colourwheel of colours (see photo above) and I am going to use them to make a granny square blanket/shawl. So from unwanted grubby wool to colourful granny square shawl.

The best bit of this is that now I also know what colours I can expect from variety of plants and I have used this to dye some bunny yellow cotton into a more attractive (to me at least) burnt orange colour for another shawl. I think I am becoming a bit of a shawl lady. I will show you this project later when I start making the shawl.

My friend Cecile took some wonderful notes on all our experiments and she is writing them up as very informative posts on her blog, Ways of the Whorl. Below I will show you some of the dyes we did and direct you to her post on it and more pictures for you to see.

What else have I been doing lately. Well I decided to move the Historic Crafts blog to a blogger platform too! It is now http://historic-crafts.blogspot.com. I have already met some lovely people on Ravelry who have signed up as authors to help me show of historic related crafts to the world. If you are interested in this - get in tough (eddie at roued dot com).

I have also made a decision to revive and focus a bit more on my own crafty and other activities on my own blog www.roued.com . My only problem here is that I am struggling to find a better name for this blog. At the moment I've just named it "Eddie's". PLease, please help! Any suggestions will be very welcome.

I can't wait to see all your dyeing projects and your shawls for that matter!

Take care,

Eddie
