Lounge Pants

When people know that I refashion clothes - it seems like they all want to give me their hand-me-downs. Which is totally fine with me - I love to refashion free things. Someone gave me 3 of the same shirt, which sat it my closet for about a year.

Just your basic knit polo shirt with ugly emblem

I decided to turn them into lounge pants. I used a McCall pattern for yoga pants. I used the collar of the shirts for a waist band. I also shorten the length considerably as I will be wearing these in the summer. I used the bottom of the shirt for legs. That way I didn't have to hem the pants at all :)

I ended up taking the button off as it was off center. The placket of the shirt is a bit wonky looking but I am ok with that. These fit perfectly and are so comfortable.
