A couple of small bits

When I'd refashioned a men's dress shirt and a couple of old studded belts into a studded skirt a couple of months ago, I was left with lots of studs and other parts of the shirt... I'd been saving the collar in particular, and finally got around to jazzing it up a bit.



I haven't figured out exactly how I want to style this, but think it'll be a fun piece! Any ideas about how to wear it? Under a crew neck shirt to make it look like I have a dress shirt underneath, maybe?

I also have had this jacket in my refashioning pile for an embarrassingly long time. Thrifted it at the dollar-a-pound store, real leather and fur...just gorgeous. But missing a couple of buttons, which I didn't notice until I got it home.


So I finally got inspired by Bartinki's post earlier today, swapped them out for some vintage orange buttons! Now this is ready for the snow that I'm sure will hit any day now.
