Cardigan to Scarf

I don't have a before picture but this was made from a cardigan I unravelled. It's a beautiful soft wool and ideal for neckwear.

I cast on 84 stitches and using circular needles knitted about seven rows of plain and the four rows of pearl, repeated this until I had a depth measuring 14cm. I cast off and had new soft cosy neckwear.

  1. that is really lovely. It is one of the nicest things to unravel and make new. Sadly most of the shop bought knits don't allow this.

  2. What a lovely scarf. Is that a pom pom on it too?
