Pants to Skirt

Hey all.. this was an easy project. All you have to do is cut the pants to the desired skirt length, leaving some seam allowance, of course. Adjust new front and back seams to desired fit and sew! Don't forget to leave a slit in the back otherwise, you'll be unable to walk. Ahem, Guilty.

    I tried 4 times to post the following on your blog. I think your protection is a bit overkill!

    The skirt looks very sharp, good job. But I'm wondering, wasn't the waist too big? What did you do to make it smaller? Also did you purchase lining material (nothing wrong with that, just wondering - I need to line a skirt)
