Happy Diwali!

Happy Diwali, refashioners!

I made my own sari and sari blouse for a Diwali party at a friend's house. The sari blouse was made from rather an ugly polyester shirt:


The final blouse was a very simple shape and the trim matched the sari (of course). 

Here's me in my full sari outfit. It was SO much fun to wear. I will definitely be wearing this again next year!
