scrappy wooly goodies


quite a few months ago i used a couple of inadvertently felted wool children's items to make some eco-sponges. the sleeves of this adorable dress didn't felt up because they were some sort of acrylic blend, so i used them to make some cute little girl legwarmers/...



...mamma wrist warmers. i used the tiny bits of fabric left from the tops of the shoulders and the decorative buttons to embellish them some more.


after sewing the sponges, there were also these other measly scraps left over:


just out of principle, i used every millimeter of fabric to create:


a little girl's sweet headband...


...and a funky woman's choker. you can get the details about all three scrap projects here (and the sponges here).
