I found this dress at a thrift store and didn't try it on first. It was a tad too tight, so much that I couln't breath in it when zipped up. So I added it to my refashion pile. I ended up making a shirt that is a very versatile piece in my wardrobe. The shirt is the bottom part of the dress. (The hem line is now the neck line)

Turning a skirt or dress up side down is 1 of my favorite ways to make a top. I like how you added a scoop neck though I usually just goe with a straight hem line. I'm lazy I guess :) No wait it's not laziness - it's just that the hemlines on my reashions are so beautiful I don't want to ruin them. Yeah that's it.

Do you have a tutorial? I'm a newbie when it comes to sewing, and would like to see a step-by-step guide :) Thanks, and it looks adorable!!
