A slip and a neglige from a dress

I had a tunic, that almost fit me as a dress, because I am only 161 cm (5'4"). But it was just a few centimeter too short to be decent as a dress. So I decided to make a slip to wear under it.
I used this 90'ies party dress.

I first removed the black transparent outer dress (and got myself a neglige).

I hemmed the inner dress to a length, that would cover my bum, sewed on bias tape to the top of the dress and added straps (which are actually gift wrapping fabric ribbon).

Decent for the Yuleparties.
