Plaid Blazer to Vest

This piece began as a thrift score on a much heavier Carissa, purchased for $5 at Goodwill with the original $165 Nordstrom tag still attached!

But since it no longer fits, it's time to make some changes!

I removed the collar, sleeves, and pocket flaps. I cut the bottom edge into points and trimmed the shoulders back a bit. I took in the sides of the outer layer and the lining. And finally, I rehemmed all the edges, which also reattached the lining. And tada! New vest!
