I don't really like to call this a refashion. In my mind it is mostly recycling. It feels the same when I only hem a piece shorter, that's not refashioning to me, that's mending... but that's not the point. It is re-using something that was there, with no use, into something new.
So, this time I used a knit XXL pillow cover to make my daughter a new t-shirt. I had cut it all before (the pillow cover, so there's no before photos this time - I am really sorry about that), and had dyed it, it used to be a very light-baby-pink. For the collar I used scraps from another shirt I had in the refashion pile. It was made with rib knit so it was perfect for the porpuse. I used the same scraps and the same pillow fabric to make a pair of shorts. I haven't blogged about them yet, but I plan to soon.
