Top and skirt from dress

This tunic/dress was absolutely fine, it just wasn't me.
I cut the bodice and the skirt apart, hemmed both, added a casing and elastic to the skirt.

Thep process took about 10 minutes, and now I have two pieces of clothing, that will get a lot more wear by me.

Skirt, here worn at my natural waist. Because of the elastic, I can also wear it at hip level.

Top. I wasn't sure if it would work, but it does and serves as a kind of bolero/shrug.

  1. Plus, sometimes a busy print like that is better in small doses, wouldn't you say?

You made a good call I think!
