We're well into fall in northern California but it's still warm enough to put our summer clothes to good use. I've been meaning to make a summery jumpsuit for a while and when I saw this dress at the thrift store, I knew it would make the perfect jumpsuit.
I used a store bought pattern but had to make a modification to the bottom as the skirt was just a little short on fabric. I used a pair of pajama bottoms as my pattern. It was my first time copying a ready to wear garment, but it was super easy.

how to refashion a dress into a jumpsuit at my blog

Welcome to the refashion community! I wish I could pull off the jumpsuit look but I'm too short. :) You pull it off with ease and grace. Great refashion. Look forward to more!
Love it love it love it! Also, I've been wanting to make a black jumpsuit out of something in my stash...I may need to follow your lead here :)
