#4 Fall Travel / Work Wardrobe: Peeling Boots to New Shoe Boots

RanchHouse Sewing Goal: *Refashion 10 Items for Fall Travel/Work Core Wardrobe.
This is #4.

Fall Travel/Work Core Wardrobe:
*Up-cycled from Pre-retirement stash. Retirement did not take; I accepted consultant work.
*Needed for:
-work travel to a different weather and location each week.

Before:  Bass boots, I had not worn much. Leather lowers were good; vinyl uppers peeled.

After: Brown open side shoe boots.
*Great for this weeks snowy / cold location.
*Worn with the core brown pants and camel skirt with thick black tights.
*TSA friendly, easy off, easy on.

Steps: Very Carefully!!!
*Cut along edges of leather lower section. Use heavy duty craft scissors.
*Pull out loose lining.
*Wear heavy socks due to larger sizing after removing lining.

Note: If you Upgrade to Win 10 you may have browser errors. Switch to Firefox to load post.

After: Roomy after lining was removed. Loved these in the snow.

After: Worn with 2 layers of socks for warmth.

Before: Nearly new boots. Vinyl uppers peeled.

Before: Leather lower was in new condition.

  1. Great and thank you veeery much - just the right idea for something similar here!
Yet having said so at an earlier stage: You amaze me over and over again - thumbs up and 'irish blessed roads' for you whilst on them.
