This white shirt is super cozy and is actually a pyjama shirt, but after only two washes the silver lettering came off (I tried to zoom in to get a closer look). To attempt an update I decided to cut out a v-neck and use some of the remaining sparkles to add to the new V. I like how the silver V turned out, however the shirt is way too low cut now and quite flimsy at the neck line (or should I now call it the chest line? ha ha). This month’s project turned out to be an epic fail.
Part of re-fashioning is learning. You win some, you lose some.
On to the next project…

Thanks for this post... it's true- we all win some and lose some, hahaha. Hopefully, we do learn from the losses. :)
ReplyDeleteIf you're seriously in love with the shirt/material, why not adding a fixed modesty panel?
ReplyDeleteYou know: there are maaany ways to 'skin a cat' !

You can always wear a contrast colour tank top under the shirt or add a lace trim modesty panel. What do you think?
ReplyDeleteIndeed, you win some, you lose some. The important part is to keep at it!
