Once again I thrifted some vintage souvenir travel scarves and these two are from Rome. I did the usual stitching across the shoulders and down the sides and in less than 20 minutes I have a new top.
Unfortunately on the one scarf there were two small holes so I used some fusable web and ironed it over the back of the holes and repaired them.
Here is the back of the repairs.
And here is the front. When I wear my new top, which has already had an outing, the holes are no longer obvious. I am very happy with my new vintage souvenir scarf top, and am happy to add it to my collection. Cheers, Michele. Check out my blog Here!
Great save of some lovely old scarves.
