The "Small" Black Floral Dress

Hello Refashion Co-op. I hope you are all well and happily sewing the day away. I was given this dress as a hand-me-down and loved the floral design. It was a bit too big even though it said "small" on the tag. I like the loose fit but this was a little too loose. I look like a little kid playing dress up.

I got my pins out and decided to make the arms and body of the dress less baggy but leave the nice full skirt. I moved the seam over about an inch and tapered it out and away down the waist.

Here is the finished dress. I think it looks much better even though I didn't do much.
