#25 Back to School: Lace Trim Lifts Voile Shirt

This is #25 for my “Back to Elementary School Wardrobe”. Beginning in August to November 1,  I have not bought any RTW or thrifted. I am shopping from the closet and from the Re-fashion stash.  

BEFORE:

·         Voile shirt from the closet. Several years ago, I bought this at an outlet and had not worn it. It just needed a lift.

·         Lace is from the stash I bought when a favorite fabric outlet closed.

STEPS:

·         No basting needed. This easy to handle lace was easy to hold in place for machine stitching.  

AFTER:

·         The added lace moved this shirt from outlet to boutique style.
       My new school is a very small Pre-K - Grade 12. 
       Seeing the same people every day makes me more aware conscious of little things like this lace,
