This backpack, made from a men's coat and a leather jacket, is not something I like a whole lot. When I have it on, it doesn't sit very well.
I will try to make a backpack again, because I know what I need to do to make it sit right. Not for a while though, and not with leather! (My sewing machines hated me.)
Check out my blog!
I'm sorry it doesn't sit well on your back. But it does look great!
ReplyDeletei agree with "mommy" it looks nicely finished...could you possibly make a lining for it? that might help.
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful. Maybe you could take off the backpack straps and make it more of a messenger bag, over-the-shoulder style?
ReplyDeletethanks for the tips! I am thinking about trying a few things to fix it, but I think it will have to wait a while...I'm a little frustrated with it right now!
ReplyDeleteIt looks nice in the photos at least =). I agree a lining might give it some structure, or perhaps you can just "decide" that this was the look you were going for? I think the wool and leather mix beautifully. To me, it looks inspired!
