As you can see it was screaming out for a makeover so it got the chop! So 1st I chopped off the bottom and made a flirty mini skirt:
Then I cut open and trimmed the sides to fit, slashed the back then sewed it back together:

1 dress = 2 pieces
Hello ladies :) I found this stripey dress on the $1 rack yesterday so I snapped it up:
As you can see it was screaming out for a makeover so it got the chop! So 1st I chopped off the bottom and made a flirty mini skirt:
Then I cut open and trimmed the sides to fit, slashed the back then sewed it back together:
Not bad for $1 and about 20min of my time :) Hope you're all having a productive refashioning week!

Wow, I thought it looked fine before.... and then then you got busy and have given them a whole new lease of life. I love what you did.
What wonderful results for only $1! Bravo! I also wish I can wear something like that!
