Scalloped skirt

Hi everyone, today I came to show you my most recent refashion, I bought this skirt at the thrift store for $1.50, I loved the gingham pattern and the pink color, when I bought it I thought about just shortening it and replacing the very tight waistband with a simple elastic one, but then I thought about a scalloped hem, I had never done a scalloped hem, I was a bit nervous about messing it up and I almost gave up, it took me a few hours to finish it but I'm very pleased with the outcome.

The best thing, it's pink and it has large pockets! My blog.

It looks great! I'd be wary of a scalloped hem too; how did you do it?

I love the skirt, and the whole outfit you've put together! I'd also love to know how you did the scalloping :)

Method? I watched and read many tutorials, a combination of many, I didn't do a tutorial because it takes so much time, however there are many tutorials online for scalloped hems. =)
