As Heather has great taste, this is not an ugly top. It’s actually quite fetching! I loved the grey hue and the extreme softness of the fabric. However, the sleeves really weren’t my style, and I’d probably never wear it as-is. Not a problem. I removed the rosette, and pinned each side of the top right where the sleeves began. I ran each side through my machine and lopped off the excess material. Now I have a cute and elegant lil tube top!
You can check out a more detailed post about how I refashioned this top right here. Ciao!

Love it! I wish I could pull off strapless tops. I can't seem to find a decent strapless bra though.
The tube style top suits you! A great refashion and yay for free clothing.

You are right. The tube top is definitely you! BTW, love your men's shirts dress that you modeled on TV!
How cute! Loved the top as it was, but love the new one even better. A wonderful refashion project.

I agree with all the girls tube tops look great on you ^ _ ^
I like this refashion, but it highlights a problem I have personally ... I liked the original top too. What do I do if I have a really nice garment that is just not 'me', do I do as you have done here and make it 'me', or do I pass it on to someone who will love it as it is?
@Crafty - Usually I'll pass the garment on if it's already pretty, but just not my style. I reallllly liked the color and the fabric of this one though, so I decided to keep it. :)
