Hi all! I know I've been really quiet but like many others I'm in finals at University which means minimal time for sewing. Give me a month and I'll be bothering you!
Today is just a quick little refashion. I had this jersey dress in my cupboard and it was definitely worn out. Funny warping, moth holes, discolouration: eew! I had grand plans to recreate Nette's braided scarf but unfortunately I screwed up my measurements and it all turned out a bit yucky.
So what am I to do with all of the little braids? Make bracelets and necklaces of course! Braiding them reminded me of creating hyper-colour friendship bracelets in the 90s. They're still cool in my books!
I have another jersey dress in my cupboard with the same ailments as this poor little minty number, so I'm going to attempt to make that into the braided scarf.
