Basic Boys Pants

I picked up a nice pair of mens cord trousers the other day from the local op-shop. I paid $5 for them and figured I would be able to maker one size 3 boys pant and some shorts/pants for my toddler. If not the scraps will be used for some bibs, or the trim on some other pants.

I used the pattern and tutorial on Made to make the pants. A nice simple pattern suitable for a novice like myself. Since having done this pattern for the second time I have really improved and managed to do it so much faster this time around.

I think he likes them ;)

Great pictures! And have you seen this tutorial (http://handmademommy.blogspot.com/2009/10/15-minute-jammy-pants.html) - it's even easier, with only the inside leg seams to do. I'd love the beanie pattern too, by the way!
