Here is what I started with, a very large sweater I got for $3 at a thrift store. It still had the original tag on it when I purchased the sweater. Now in this picture, what you can not tell is I am wearing a skirt underneath this sweater when I tried it on and took this picture!! Yes it was that big!

Then through a series of chops I made it a little more form fitting. Then I used the scraps of fabric that were leftover to embellish the neckline. I liked the idea of having a wide neckline for this sweater.
Here is the finished product!

A nice light and airy sweater for the cool spring nights. :) I can make it a little more work appropriate by adding a tank top or something of that sort underneath.
