I saw a purse at a craft show made out of men's ties, so for over a year I thought about how I wanted to make my own. This is the result.
The base is beige corduroy; the lining is brown gabardine, both fabrics from my stash.
A zippered outside pocket is a must for me...

and I added another zippered pocket inside, also made out of part of a tie. The handle is also a tie. I really am happy with the results.

BTW could you let us know what your Refashion Co-op username is as I am trying to find you on our contributor list and failing?

Lovedarose. I tried entering it when I registered, but it didn't "take." Thanks for your compliment!
No worries, I have added it now as one of your labels on this post. Would you mind using it as a label for future posts too so that we can see that it is you! :-)

After using the Wardrobe Refashion website for a few years, I am still working on navigation here. I forgot to add any labels at all on my post.
That is really cute! I love to use old ties for sewing!
