Refashioning Sleeves

You know sometimes a garment does not need much to make it better. I found this Ralph Lauren shirt at a local thrift store for $3. It did not look like it had even been worn. When I got it home I realized the sleeves just kind of hung weird. It was this thick poofy at the elbow. It just didn't work whatsoever. I think had the material been a lightweight material the poofy would work but not with cotton. So I began to fix the sleeves. Pulled one off and readjusted it...

As you can see the stark differences between the sleeves. Fixed the other and made sure it matched the first one (it took me 2X).

Much better! Just a simple fix and the shirt looks nicer. No more poofy sleeves over here! :)

XOXOXO,
LaLaLauren
