It's the time of the season...

...for jeans skirts! I've been wishing I had one on and off all summer, so the seasonal transitions challenge was just the nudge I needed to finally fill this hole in my wardrobe.

So I picked up these jeans, or jeggings, or whatever they are (stretchy things with a horrible elastic waist that didn't deserve to live) at the local Goodwill. Only $2!

And after about 2 nights' work, I had this.

I had this zipper on hand, so I decided to give the exposed zipper look a try. I think it turned out pretty well! More details on how I did it here.
