I found new dress capris with tags at the thrift store but they sat in my drawer for a year...
I ripped open the inseams and then sewed the fronts and backs together and hemmed to desired length.
With the extra fabric I added belt loops to accomodate my favorite belt : )

Very clever! The skirt looks very smart. The addition of belt loops was inspired as I think the belt sets it off so well.
