Cosmic Pink Princess Skirt

Hi Refashioners! It is LaLaLauren, one of your daily editors. I have been a busy gal getting ready and sewing several gifts for baby showers and children's birthdays. Finally, they have passed and I am not playing catch up on my blog.

I started out with this skirt I got at a thrift store. It was actually sized for myself. Just not my style.

I saved the applique for myself but I turned the skirt into a girls skirt for my friend's daughter's birthday. I also added this frilly ruffle that was leftover from a grandmother's sewing room I inherited to turn it into a frilly princess skirt.

I called it cosmic from the three different colors that were on the fringe. Hence the cosmic pink princess skirt. Perfect for my favorite princess. :) For more information, check out my blog here
